Warm Fruit Salad with Almond and Chocolate

A sweet and satisfying dessert option that is packed with vitamins.

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup almonds
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 ⅓ cups strawberries
  • 4 plums
  • ¾ lime
  • 2 oz dark chocolate
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F (204° C).
  2. Place almonds in a baking dish. Toast 5 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Cut banana into bite-sized rounds. Cut strawberries in half. Dice plum. Combine together in the empty baking dish. Drizzle with 4 tsp lime juice.
  4. Chop toasted almonds and the dark chocolate. Sprinkle over the fruit. Bake 5 minutes, or until fruit is warm and chocolate has melted.
