Classic Homemade Guacamole with Celery Sticks

About this recipe:

With celery sticks instead of tortilla chips, this guacomole recipe is the perfect healthy snack option.

Ingredients:
  • ¼ red onion
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 4 avocados
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 lime
  • 8 sticks celery
Instructions:
  1. Peel and mince red onion. Chop cilantro. Remove top and seeds from jalapeno pepper; finely chop.
  2. Peel and dice avocado; add to a mixing bowl. Mash with a potato masher or the back of a fork, until your desired consistency is reached.
  3. Add red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, salt and 2 tbsp lime juice to the bowl. Stir to combine and adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Cut celery sticks in 3-inch lengths. Enjoy with guacamole for dipping!
